The Corn & Soy Incidentals

Corn and Soy are grains that are high in protein and cheap to obtain and are therefore often included in prepared pet foods.
Unfortunately as well as being completely inappropriate for our carnivorous pets, causing all sorts of digestive problems including colitis and ‘leaky gut syndrome’ (ripping holes in the digestive tract), they are more often than not genetically modified (GMO).
GMOs are full of pesticides which decimate bee populations and have been shown to cause cancers in rats and breeding malformations in pigs. Thankfully many countries have started to ban GMOs, unfortunately the UK and the USA seem to have taken the exact opposite tactic and are encouraging them.
We recommend avoiding grains and starchy foods in carnivore diets.
